Health Update, Video Confusion, & Moving (08.21.13) - YouTube

What is health?

Is it being skinny,  & fitting into those size 0 jeans? Is it being really buff muscularly, & looking like you will pop if someone pokes you with a pin?  What if it is neither of those things?  Health is a bit tricky.  While being overweight can be a clear indicator of not being healthy; by contrast being skinny, or even muscular, is NOT an indicator that you are healthy.

You can see the proof of this in the unexpected death of the actor, Chadwick Boseman.  When watching his movie, Black Panther, in 2018; who would have guessed he would be dead in a little over 2 years later??  He was obviously chosen for the role because he looked like a superhero - most people's idea of what 'healthy' looks like.  But on the inside, cancer was taking it's toll on his actual health.  I can already hear people thinking, well cancer is not something controllable.  It's random - like the common cold.  But is it?  Or is it something completely preventable, depending on how we choose to live?

Since I used cancer in my example about hidden health problems; let's jump right into the deep end, & click the picture below to look at the interesting findings of a woman named Dr. Loraine Day.

Before you assume that I follow Dr. Day's plan, it's close; but I have studied so many different health ideas, that I have my own way of looking at things.  Just like everything else in life, there are certain core health facts; but everyone is an individual, & while 1 thing works for 1 person, it may not for another.  I pointed to Dr. Day's story because her findings did cure her cancer, & others as well; so her information is worth looking into, rather than just brushing it aside as 'nonsense'.  But now click the real food picture below to take a look into my own journey:

Due to this topic, I need to put some disclaimers.  I am NOT a Doctor & do NOT claim to be one.  You need to check with your Doctor anytime you change something about your health routine, to make sure it is OK for you to do.  Anything I write about health in here is purely from my point of view on what has helped me; BUT as I said, the 1 thing you learn from studying health for a long time is that EVERYONE IS AN INDIVIDUAL!!!  What helps 1 person can harm, or even kill, another person; so you have to make sure that what you try works for you, & that is what Doctors are there to help you with.   :)
