For all the critics looking at this, I begin with a wonderful quote from Bernard Ram:
 
  "A thousand times over the death knell of the Bible has been sounded, the funeral procession formed, the inscription cut on the tombstone, & the committal read; but somehow the corpse never stays put."
 
  On that note, why don't you stay for the duration, & maybe you'll see why it has endured all this time.
